Why did my credit card payment fail?

A failed credit card payment can have many causes. Often, the MasterCard® SecureCode™ or Verified by Visa details are missing. Some banks now require these codes as mandatory security information. Please contact your bank if you're having trouble with these codes.

Are tickets also shipped by mail?

For select events in Germany, we offer a mail delivery option. An additional shipping/service fee is charged per ticket. Processing and delivery time for mailed tickets is between 5 and 7 business days. Unfortunately, international shipping and express delivery are not available. Mail delivery is not available for open-air events.

Are there discounted tickets?

With a discount code from one of our promotions, you can get up to four tickets at a reduced price at www.outdoor-ticket.net.

Why haven't I received my booking confirmation?

Please make sure the booking confirmation email hasn't been caught by your spam filter. If you can't find it in your spam folder either, you may have entered an incorrect email address. Please send us a message via the contact form with the subject "Ticket Booking".


Can I return my ticket(s)?

No, ticket returns are not possible for any events. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions. Since tickets are not tied to a specific name, they can easily be given away or sold – even on the day of the event. Just talk to the team on-site. If someone wants to buy a ticket at the box office, they'll connect you with that person and you can sell your ticket at the advance sale price.

Are there assigned seats?

No, all events have open seating.

How long is a voucher valid?

It depends on the type of voucher: Free promotional vouchers have an individual expiry date stated at the time of issue. Purchased gift vouchers are valid for three years from December 31st of the year of purchase.

Where can I redeem a voucher?

Vouchers can only be redeemed in the online shop – not at a physical location or anywhere else.

How do I redeem a voucher?

Simply enter the promo code in your shopping cart during checkout and click the “Redeem” button. The value will be automatically deducted from the total – you only pay the reduced amount.

Can I combine multiple vouchers or discounts?

No. Vouchers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. If you have multiple gift vouchers and would like to use them in a single order, please contact our customer service.

Tickets are also sold through local advance sale partners. They often still have tickets available when the online contingent is sold out. You can always find your local advance sale partner on the detail page of the respective event.

Box Office

We do not reserve a fixed number of tickets for the box office. However, if press or guest tickets are not picked up, we release them for general sale shortly before the event begins. These tickets are allocated on a waitlist basis. Starting 1.5 hours before the event, we collect the names of people interested in any tickets that may become available and distribute them shortly before the show starts – in order of sign-up. The earlier you arrive, the better your chances of getting a ticket. There's often someone who has spare tickets they'd like to sell. The meeting point is at the box office, where our team is happy to connect buyers and sellers.

How long does the full program last?

The film programs usually run about 120 minutes in total. There is typically an intermission of around 30 minutes. Including the supporting program such as hosting and giveaways, events last approximately 2.5 to 3 hours overall.

Is there an intermission?

Yes (with a few exceptions), there will be an intermission of approximately 30 minutes after roughly the halfway point of the program.

Are the films suitable for children?

In general, our program has no age restriction. However, individual scenes may be frightening or disturbing for children (e.g. falls, injuries, etc.). Please also keep in mind that our evening events typically end around 11 PM or later. The content of our programs is rated by the FSK (German film rating board) in most cases – results can be found on the respective event pages.
