What is the new german voucher law?

Due to the corona pandemic, the German Government enacted a law on May 14, 2020 to protect organizers of cultural events. It states that money paid for event tickets can be repaid to customers in the form of vouchers instead of money. This newly enacted law is intended to protect the organizers from bankruptcies through mass repayments.

Where can I exchange my tickets for vouchers?

You can easily exchange your purchased tickets for canceled events here for a streaming voucher and / or an Outdoor-Ticket voucher. For this you need your order number and the email address used when ordering.

I bought my tickets at another sale point. How can I exchange them for streaming/ a voucher?

Digital or print tickets you bought at another sale point (local retail/another ticketing platform) can also be exchanged for a voucher and or streaming. Please send an email to info@outdoor-ticket.net with a photo of the ticket in question.

Where and how can I redeem my outdoor ticket voucher?

Your voucher code is valid for all events on outdoor-Ticket.net. Select an event for which online tickets are available, enter the desired number of tickets and enter the individual voucher number that was sent to you. The value of the voucher will be deducted from the invoice amount and the voucher will be deactivated or reduced by the corresponding amount. If the invoice amount is higher than the voucher value, the difference can be supplemented using one of our payment options.

How long is a voucher valid?

Vouchers obtained as an exchange for an event that was cancelled due to the Corona pandemic are valid until December 31, 2021 and can only be redeemed for events on outdoor-Ticket.net. If the voucher has not been redeemed by December 31, 2021, payment of the amount can be requested.
Other vouchers bought on outdoor-Ticket.net have a legal period of validity of 3 years, starting on the purchase date.

Can the voucher be paid out?

No for now. (Except hardship cases, see here). If the voucher has not been redeemed by December 31, 2021, payment of the amount can be requested.

Can I partially redeem a voucher?

No, the maximum possible amount is automatically redeemed, if necessary the voucher remains active with a residual value.

Does my remaining amount expire when I place an order?

No, the remaining amount remains valid. If your voucher has a higher value than the order in which it was used, the voucher remains active with a remaining balance. Simply enter your voucher code again the next time you buy a ticket.

Where can I see how much my voucher is worth?

At the moment you cannot see for yourself what the current value of your voucher is. If necessary, please send us a message via the contact form with the subject "current value of my voucher?"

Can I redeem multiple vouchers in one order?

No, only one voucher per order can be redeemed.

Can I also pass on / give away my voucher?

Yes, the voucher is not personal and can be redeemed by everyone when placing an order on outdoor-ticket.net. Of course, the value can only be used once. The voucher will be deactivated after full use.

Why haven't I received my voucher?

Please make sure that the email with the voucher code or the streaming access was not intercepted by your SPAM filter. If the mail is also not in your SPAM folder, you may have entered an incorrect email address. In this case, please send us a message using the contact form with the subject "voucher not received".

I chose “Streaming + Voucher”, where can I redeem my streaming?

You will receive 2 separate emails, one with the voucher code and one with the data for your streaming access to www.outdoor-cinema.net. Please make sure that the emails were not intercepted by your SPAM filter.

I have lost the email with my voucher, can I get it again?


The voucher is to be treated like cash. In the event of loss, there is no replacement. In exceptional cases we can issue you the voucher again. Please use our contact form.
