This is my Moment

Biniam Girmay is the first black cyclist to win the green jersey at the Tour de France, establishing himself as a sensation in the still very white, Euro-centric world of professional cycling.

This is my Moment follows the exceptional talent from his home country of Eritrea to the premier league of international cycling and provides insight into the life of the cyclist between training, racing, and family commitments. It begins with his initial sporting successes in Africa and follows him through several months at a training camp for young cyclists in Switzerland, all the way to signing his first contract with a European professional team and to the moment when wins his first stage in a Grand Tour.

Building the Buffalo

With the Buffalo Bicycle, World Bicycle Relief has created an exceptionally durable bike for developing countries. The NGO aims to deliver one million bikes by 2025, making up to five million people more mobile.

Building the Buffalo tells the story of this special bicycle, featuring voices from both test riders in Kenya and engineers in the USA who are working together to further adapt the Buffalo Bike to the harsh local conditions. Their goal is to help more children ride to school and to make commuting, transporting goods, and accessing healthcare in underserved regions easier and more effective.
